We designed the app to utilize a lot of iOS’ multi-touch gestures so the photographs shine instead of the interface.

Here’s the video demo:

This is a big step for us because it is the first app we have shipped on our own. We will still continue to work with amazing clients and help them ship their products, but we will be doing it ourselves, as well.

I couldn’t sleep so do what I usually do; look through the app store to see what I can be inspired by. One website I’ve always been interested in is Lookbook.nu. I am not a very fashionable person so never post anything, but have been fascinated with the idea of sharing style with one another. I was surprised to see there was no iPad app. I decided to design an iPad app and a few interactions of what it could look like. My goal was to use no tab navigation and utilize gestures for most of the interactions.
