Xhatch is going mobile

It’s crazy to think that this time last year, Adam and I received our LLC paperwork for Xhatch. Year one is officially in the bag. It was a good year but we know there is a lot of opportunity for us to learn and do even more work to help people out with projects. The first move we are making is refining our services to become even more specialized.

Xhatch is now exclusively a mobile app design and development entity.

We’ll be working on native iOS and Android (sorry Blackberry) apps as well as cross-platform solutions for the mobile experience. There’s still going to be web and social when we do integration though.

I could not be more excited about this move. Stay tuned for a few apps we’re releasing in the app store at the end of the month.

Welcome to Xhatch, Jake Moore

We like doing intros so much, we decided to do another one this week. Please join me in welcoming Jake Moore to Xhatch, who will be joining us as our Mobile Developer. Jake is going to take the lead on our mobile application development in iOS and Android. Uh…we are not doing Blackberry.

Prior to Xhatch, Jake worked with Jason and Adam at GeoMonkey as a Software Developer and specialized in Object-Oriented Analysis, design and focusing on programming in Java. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Washington State University.

As the UX Designer on the team I am really looking forward with Jake and learning from him about the mobile world.

Welcome aboard, Jake!
